The beginning of the day, the track looked damp through on of the fast corners so i had my wets in on a good wet set up and got moving for my qualifying laps, now with the bike i'm riding i have only had problems, by the time i work one thing out i notice more, one thing i noticed due to actually wanting to know things are done on my bike rather than trusting someone who says they can do it (thank god he chose to walk away), the spacers in the wheel didn't fit the forks there was a huge gap, so i asked my dad to make me some spacers which put my forks where they should be meaning my suspension actually worked properly, which in turn meant i was struggling on the bike but still managed to get an ok grid position for race 1,
Race 1, i changed from my wet tires to my drys and tried the suspension as it was in the dry, when the race started i did a boo boo, i just got it into gear as the lights went out, so brought me more backwards and i wanted to see how the bike turned into the hairpin, it struggled but much better than it was, so got my head down to chase my position back and pushed to see if i can find what else the bike felt like, i managed to retain my position i started at, which i was happy with, i came back in and started to do some more changes to the front hoping that it would help,
Race 2, i started in the same place as race one with the thought of the changes in my head so again i needed a better start and see how it felt pushing a little harder, the bike felt alright and managed to start pushing to where i should have been at the start of the meeting, i know i had more changes to do but i was happy with how i was getting round and wanted to leave on a high,
Race 3, i had a good start and over the first couple of laps i just started to slowly pick a couple of riders off not realizing which position i was in, i was running in 3rd, i saw the rider i have had a couple of passes with in a meeting last year, last year i came passed him and he came back through into a corner almost taking my front out, then next lap he actually broke my fairings and slid my front out with a dive, so i was very careful about going through on him, but we had a couple of exchanges and he was a lot more respectable, so while we was having a little pass here take back here, we came round to a back runner he chose the better side and i chose wrong as i watched 4th come passed me into the last lap so i crossed the line taking 4th, so i didn't do what i wanted to but again i'm finding out so much to get better on my bike,
i also looked at the championship points for the year, i'm currently sat in 2nd in the championship now i just have to keep it there
